LISI AUTOMOTIVE was established in 1968, from a merger between three family firms under the GFD trademark, the oldest founded in 1777 by Frédéric Japy.

Fuji Autotech
Fuji Autotech is located in France on two sites at Mandeure: a steering column production site and an R&D centre.
The Japanese group Fuji Kiko moved to France in 2004 and demonstrates the success of the sale of a division of Faurecia.
At present, more than 500 people are employed to develop the business with the aim of becoming the world leader in steering columns. With more than 50 active patents, Fuji autotech works with the major automobile manufacturers throughout the world.

Faurecia
FAURECIA was created from an ECIA – Equipements et Composants pour l’Industrie Automobile (equipment and components for the automobile industry) – acquisition, Betrand Faure, in 1997 and is heir to a long industrial tradition dating back to 1810 in the heart of the Montbéliard region.
Today the Faurecia group is one of the leading ten motor vehicle equipment suppliers in the world: 60,000 employees on 160 sites in 28 countries.
