	Vehicle of the Future Cluster The Vehicle of the Future Cluster develops its research strategy and projects on three themes : the clean vehicle, smart vehicle and networks, and industry excellence. Its ambition is, for each of these subject areas, to offer and implement solutions on a worldwide scale for the vehicles and modes of transport of the future. During its first year of operation, the cluster has given rise to 8 programmes combining the skills, agencies and projects already available in the area: Engine environment, comfort and safety inside the vehicle, fuel cell system, transport systems and services, special vehicles, materials and finishes, innovative engineering and industry performance. www.vehiculedufutur.com

	Plastipolis – Plastics processing On 12 July 2005 the “Plastipolis” competitive cluster was born. A unique French centre of plastics processing, it represents 1/3 of national operations in the sector. Two regions are involved in this cluster: the Rhône-Alpes region and the Franche-Comté region with South Jura. 4 major centres of development are already in place: - Improving competitiveness by materials, - Improving competitiveness by the production process, - Improving competitiveness by composite materials, - Developing a “smart” plastic. www.plastipolis.fr
