	FAURECIA BAVANS, is the international centre for equipment supplier FAURECIA for exhaust research and trials. 150 people work to develop efficient and economic solutions.
	SCHRADER, In partnership with Schrader Electronics, Schrader Pontarlier is the Tomkins Group’s world centre for R&D on valves and radio-frequency systems for measuring tyre pressure.
	PSA BELCHAMP, The 430-ha site plays host to laboratories, test benches and several miles of tracks suited to all types of tests.
	SOLVAY, devotes significant investment to green chemistry specialities and risk management.
	GENERAL ELECTRIC ENERGY BELFORT, the group’s European head office, is GE’s international centre of excellence for 40 to 150 megawatt gas-powered turbines and the European platform for gas-powered turbines above 250 megawatts.

	ALSTOM, The group’s 3 sites in Franche-Comté are international centres of excellence: • Alstom power machines in Belfort, for alternators and steam turbines for nuclear power stations
	• Alstom transports Ornans, for design and manufacturing of rail locomotive engines • Alstom Transport Belfort, for development and manufacturing of TGV high-speed train power units as well as passenger train and freight locomotives.
