| CHEVAL FRÈRES is involved, along with the companies Silvant and Daloz, in the Nanoluxe project. This project aims to develop new types of formula and innovative uses for invisible protection layers, enabling better resistance to abrasion and helping to conserve the initial appearance of parts over time. |

ERG TRANSIT SYSTEMS holds a two-thirds share of the market for tram ticketing in France. ERG designs global management solutions for urban transport networks. Ten of the fifteen French cities that have a tram system, as well as Porto and Lisbon, are customers of this company that is located in Besançon. |

PHOTLINE, created by 3 researchers from the University of FRANCHE-COMTÉ occupies 1st place in the field of electro-optic modulators for the markets of fibre-optic sensors, high-speed telecommunications, defence and aerospace. This founding member of the Microtechnology Cluster is conducting research into the development of a new line of acoustic-optic components. |
