Two micro-technics cluster projects receive FUI backing

Following the 5th call for tenders, 2 projects from the micro-technics competitive cluster in Besançon have recently received backing from the FUI (“Fonds Unique Interministériel”, the inter-ministerial fund):
- Sophysa, a subsidiary of Japanese group Tokibo specialised in designing and manufacturing neurological implants, was chosen for its project concerning an electronic valve that can be implanted in the human body to treat hydrocephalus.

- In Pontarlier, Schrader designs, develops and manufactures products for checking pressure and fluids for wheels, automobiles as well as industry, and has innovated with its wireless pressure monitoring system that does not require a local energy source.
