Wamar is a newcompany set up with Dutch capital by Tom Van Schaik – the shareholding industrialist of the Belfort company Milgred.
Attracted by the immediate proximity of the motorway with a direct exit serving the Fontaine Aeropark, the presence of Alstom Turbines and General Electric in Belfort, Tom Van Schaik has acquired Building 98 – the first to be built in the business park – in order to set up a gas turbine maintenance and repair business. The investment – a total of 5 million euros – relates to the building and to the purchase of a large amount of equipment. The company expects to recruit around a hundred people over the next 2 to 3 years.
