The Lycée Pasteur high school in Besançon is only one of two French institutions (the other is in Nantes) to offer trade and craft diploma courses in “event management” with a specialisation in lighting, to prepare students for the profession of lights manager. Training includes 32 hours per week of general, professional and artistic lessons, as well as a 6 week work experience placement in the 1st and 2nd years.
