The family firm Baud Michel, based in Sombacour in the Doubs, received the “Dynamique artisanale” prize for innovation from the Doubs Chamber of Trades and Crafts. With the introduction of a digitally-controlled machining centre, the company now uses a high-quality process that enables gains in production time and accuracy. This innovation will help the company to consolidate its position on the aluminium and wooden doors and windows market and also create jobs.
