In its special edition Guide de l’ingénieur 2009, l’Usine Nouvelle has classified the 150 best French engineering colleges.
UTBM came:
- 17th for the length of obligatory practical training
- 24th for its turnover from research contracts
- 24th for its consolidated budget
- 32nd for its share of foreign students
