The definitive date is now known: for the eastern branch of the Rhine-Rhone TGV high-speed train link, it will be all systems go on 11th December 2011.
However, in the immediate future, the project is entering a new phase with the installation of railway facilities at Villersexel. The civil engineering phase has been completed. Now it is time to install overhead wires, cable sheathing, cables and, last but not least, the rails and ballast.
