Two years after the start of work, Réseau Ferré de France announces that the eastern branch of Rhin-Rhône High Speed Link – between Dijon and Belfort – will, as expected, be finished in December 2011. The works will thus change dimension with the establishment of the Villersexel work base, which will give the green light for installing railway equipment. The laying of the tracks will thus advance by 500 metres a day as from the spring of 2009. 5,500 people will work from this base.
